LEAN PM by Jacked Factory | Full Review and In Depth Look

Jacked Factory is one of the hottest supplement companies around right now, with a growing number of converted fans. They promise complete transparency when it comes to their ingredient list, and highly dosed, powerful ingredients – no fillers!

One of their latest products is LEAN PM a stimulant free, “fat loss amplifier”. It promises to: promote deep, restful sleep, help you burn fat while you sleep, reduce food cravings, and boost mood.

In this article we will take a look at LEAN PM’s ingredients list, and assess how effective they are. We will also take a look at the overall effectiveness of LEAN PM as a supplement.

Ingredients List

LEAN PM contains seven ingredients, these are: Vitamin B6, Magnesium, Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), L-Theanine, 5-HTP, Melatonin, and Bioperine.

The last ingredient (Bioperine) is also known as Black Pepper Fruit Extract, this is used as a way to increase the absorption of the other ingredients.

While it may also produce a small fat burning effect, Bioperine is basically just for the absorption and isn’t in need of further analysis.

We will now take a look at the remaining six ingredients.

Ingredient #1. Vitamin B6

With no real benefits to taking Vitamin B6 on its own, it might seem a strange choice of ingredient. But Vitamin B6 is one of the most integral parts of ZMA, the supplement that helps improve sleep quality and potentially increase testosterone levels.

Ingredient #2. Magnesium

Anyone who trains regularly should be supplementing with Magnesium, as it is one of the most common deficiencies in athletes. This is because it is used while exercising. It can significantly lower blood pressure, and improve sleep quality. Better sleep equals better weight loss results [1].

Ingredient #3. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)

Basically green tea extract but non-stimulatory. Green tea has been shown to increase energy expenditure (more calories burned) and increase fat oxidation (more fat burned) [2]. EGCG is very beneficial and it is this ingredient that would be responsible for the majority of fat lost.

Ingredient #4. L-Theanine

A non-essential amino acid that can help to sedate and relax you, it can reduce anxiety and improve sleep quality. Often taken alongside caffeine to reduce all the unwanted side effects (jitters, nausea etc). This ingredient will really help you feel happier and more relaxed.

Ingredient #5. 5-HTP

Increases serotonin levels (it is a precursor to serotonin) and basically makes you happier. 5-HTP has a significant effect on appetite suppression and therefore it is probably no surprise that it can also lower weight. It may also improve sleep quality.

Ingredient #6. Melatonin

This is a hormone that regulates sleep, having low levels of Melatonin can lead to bad sleep, and therefore supplementation can help improve sleep.

It has a huge effect on insomnia and can really help reduce the symptoms of jet lag [3].

Bottom Line

LEAN PM seems like a really good top sleep aid and fat burner, that has some very clever ingredients in it.

The weight loss results will vary, particularly depending on what else you are doing (are you exercising and eating healthily alongside the supplement?).

If you are adding LEAN PM to an overall healthy lifestyle then you may get some amazing results. Remember to ensure that you are allowing yourself enough time to sleep properly though.
