Inhibit XT by Jacked Factory | Full Review and Ingredient Breakdown
Jacked Factory is a fairly new supplement company that has only been operating for a couple of years.
In that time they have built up a strong and loyal following in the fitness world, due to their well researched supplements, and completely transparent ingredients list.
They avoid using filler ingredients, and honestly list the dosages of each scientifically backed ingredient. A great company all round.
Inhibit XT by Jacked Factory is a carb blocking supplement that promises to suppress appetite, promote fat loss, partially block carbohydrate absorption, and therefore partially reduce calories from a carb heavy meal.
In this article we are going to take a look at the ingredients contained in Inhibit XT and then review the product as a whole.
The Ingredient List
There are only three ingredients in the entire supplement, these are White Kidney Bean Extract, Gymnema Leaf Extract, and Bioperine.
The final ingredient (Bioperine) is just another name for Black Pepper Fruit Extract and it is used to increase the absorption of the other ingredients.
It may also have a very small fat burning effect, but it is not really considered an active ingredient.
Because of this we will just be looking at the first two ingredients.
White Kidney Bean Extract (500mg)
Also known as Phase One, white kidney bean extract has been shown to affect carbohydrate absorption. Studies have shown it to significantly inhibit carbohydrate absorption in the gut .
A 2007 study by Celleno et al found that white kidney bean extract produced a significant drop in body weight over a period of 30 days .
One thing that should be noted though is that the participants were on a calorie-controlled diet – people tend to lose weight when they follow calorie controlled diets, as it is harder to cheat.
Gymnema Leaf Extract (200mg)
A traditional plant that is used in India where it is known as “Destroyer of Sugar” . Its main function is to decrease the amount of sugar that is absorbed in the gut after a carbohydrate heavy meal.
It is commonly given to diabetics. It seems to have a positive effect on weight loss, and may stimulate digestion. On the other hand it may work as a laxative and as a diuretic, which can both lead to weight loss – but not in an acceptable way.
If you are diabetic then make sure that you are not taking this alongside Insulin as they both serve the same purpose (lowering blood sugar) and may cause low blood sugar.
Inhibit XT by Jacked Factory will work, it has two powerful ingredients that have both been scientifically proven to help reduce the amount of carbohydrates that are absorbed by the body after a meal.
That does not mean that they will completely remove the amount of carbs that you eat entirely. We are essentially talking about a small percentage. This is not a bad thing, over long periods of time a small drop in the amount of carbohydrates absorbed will lead to significant weight loss.
Combined with a calorie controlled diet and regular exercise this product should be quite effective. But don’t abuse it, don’t use it as an excuse to eat as much carbohydrates as you want – this is not the intended use.
